The Audi Environmental Foundation actively supports research into new technologies and scientific methods for a liveable future. Its stated goal is to make a contribution to environmental protection and to create and promote ways of behaving sustainably. The Foundation particularly focuses on promoting and developing environmentally compatible technologies, implementing measures for environmental education, and protecting the essential natural resources for humans, animals, and plants. Audi Environmental Foundation is collaborating with One Young World to offer scholarships to seven inspiring young leaders to attend this year’s One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany. This scholarship is intended for young leaders who are driving change by tackling the climate crisis. Examples of relevant work may include:
- Using innovative technologies to combat climate issues, e.g. by reducing pollution;
- Promoting climate education and its accessibility to increase awareness;
- Advocating for climate equity and justice;
- Empowering vulnerable communities and ensuring resilience to the effects of climate change;
- Protecting crucial ecosystems e.g. by halting land degradation or revitalising marine environments.
