In keeping with tradition, STERG researchers welcomed curious learners to Stellenbosch University with a boerewors braai cooked on our parabolic solar cooker and chocolate brownies baked in our solar oven. The STERG team enjoyed sharing stories about their experiences, CSP-related research topics, course requirements and answering questions from curious learners. Nothing beats seeing the look on each face when they realise how tasty boerewors braai prepared on a solar cooker is.
