Prof Craig McGregor, the manager of the Solar Thermal Energy Research Group (STERG) was recently interviewed by Solarthermalworld.org regarding a research paper by him and one of his STERG PhD students, Arend Moelish, on a system engineering approach analysing the interfaces between three components of a photoelectrochemical (PEC) solar-fuel systems: photoelectrochemical reactor, concentrators and balance of plant.
Prof McGregor, a concentrating solar power (CSP) expert with experience in both industry and academia, recently expanded his research portfolio to include green hydrogen technologies.
